Whirl and Twirl are the pets of Queen Skyla. Although they appear as normal dogs, their ears turn into wings when they are teleported into the Sky Realm. They are extremely loyal to the Sky Dancers.
Whirl has green hair, and is often the more brash of the pair. His bold and arrogant nature often leads to wacky and uncharacteristic decisions, as shown in On Wings of Song when he decides to follow Slam throughout the Netherworld to spite the rest of the party.
Twirl is Whirl's red-haired sibling. They have a much more reserved personality, but their acts tend to show how intensely they value loyalty and friendships, despite seldom showing it.
